Nearly all of the funds we raise go to paying bail for those who cannot afford it. Funds also go toward aftercare services to help recently released people find stability once out. This includes bus passes, toiletries, administrative costs like fees for new IDs, and more. We also use donations to pay for outreach items like flyers, t-shirts for sale, and this very website. As of fall 2024, we also pay for the restorative justice diversion program for those who are eligible. Completion of this program results in removal of the crime from the person's record and the return of the bail money we provided. More info on that program here.
